Rishikesh and Kanatal are just 75 Kms / 2.5 hrs drive away from each other which makes it very convenient for one to enjoy the camping experience of both the places. While camp in Rishikesh is a riverside camp in a picturesque Neelkanth Valley, camp in Kanatal is located on a hilltop and offers clear views of the Himalayas. The altitude difference of 8000 fts between the two campsites make for a very interesting combination. Weather at Kanatal is quite cold and carrying woolens is imperative while Rishikesh is much warmer.
Rishikesh offers many adventure and water-based activities like River Rafting, waterfall trekking,etc and Kanatal on the other hand offers the Himalayan tranquility and rope activities like Rock Climbing, Rappelling and Valley crossing. Sight seeing options include visit to Tehri Dam - India's highest Dam, Dhanaulti Eco-Park and Queen of the Hills - Mussoorie.
