This trek takes us through a beatiful lake 'deoriatal' located three kilometres uphill from village Sari and Tungnath which is the highest Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, to chandrashila summit. According to one of the popular legends, Chandrashila is the place where lord Rama meditated after defeating the demon-king ravana.
Passing through Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, this trek leads trekkers to highest easily attainable peak of the region (Chandrashila Top). This whole trekking route is studded with natural beauty, expansive forests having several kind of giant to widespread meadow fields and slopes. This area is specially reserved for state bird ‘Monal’.
